Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Sweet.
Delta just sent me an electronic "holiday" card.
Couldn't bring themselves to say Christmas I guess.
Damn political correctness.
Oh well, it was still nicely done.

Do we (N) still have to fill out per-diem claims when we go to training?
For anyone who has done 606 in ATL do we have to bring kits or not?

Thanks Wasatch Phantom, I agree the -9 is fun to fly especially going into small places like TVC or LAN. Going to stay on it as long as I can, but hopefully either DTW will be the only DC-9 base in a year, or DTW will get MD88/90s to offset some A320s potentially going to ATL.
Does anybody know if the MD-90 has the range to do west coast stuff from DTW, ie fly DTW-SAN?
Thanks,
BV

It would be close, but I doubt they could market it year round, if at all. I flew the 90 for two years from SLC and the furthest east we would go was CLE, and DTW-SAN is about 400NM further. I believe that is one of the reasons they are going to MSP - they can cover both coasts from there.

But you have significant obstacles in SLC. MSP does not.
There are quite a few bids out now on the crew resources and scheduling page including LAX 7er B and DTW 755 B (Ferd!) Most all captain bids are out except the 320.

Training expenses for the Delta S guys is entered on the expenses tab in DBMS. It's option c after selecting expenses.

I mean, Good Lord, that's 3 months in a row....When I was growing up it was considered a good thing if your girlfriend was 'Stacked'. What does it say about a girl if she's unstacked?
