Open MiCrew and hit open time. Less than 30 seconds required.

The WS profer can be a really good deal. It is a LITTLE more work. If you put it in for same day, next day, it is a proffer.

That might get them off your back. I am assuming you own no property and don’t have a rental in CA. It’s possible if they get real nasty you might need to produce non rev travel records ect.. If you flew mostly the LAX to SFO shuttles you might have a issue as the United guys found out. As long as 50% of your flying time was not in the state of CA they don’t have a leg to stand on. Federal law dictates how transportation workers pay state taxes. If they don’t back off after the first letter you might need to get a attorney involved. It took me five years to resolve a similar issue with CA and I had to get a attorney involved. What’s amazing is I sold my house in CA, moved and purchased a house in another state and transferred out of the LAX base to another state. I provide proof of all that and they still insisted I owed CA taxes. The number they wanted was well into six figures when I finally got a attorney involved.
Thanks, all, for the input. I was able to get a letter from the CPO stating my home of record was not CA, and that more than 50% of my flying for the year was outside the state of California. Now I’ll track down where to send it.

NYC73N, seems like the company has taken the best all inclusive layovers, LIR, SJD, UVF etc and attached them to double uncommutable EWR trips. It’s almost as if they are doing it on purpose.

We didn't think they would do that.

It's almost as if they are intentionally creating QOL problems. They couldn't possibly be inventing problems with $0 cost solutions. Would they expect us to make concessions to solve them during negotiations? Nah, that would be synical of me.

On a related note, I've had one trip buy followed by a GS this year that has generated 45 hours of premium pay over and above what I was originally scheduled to work. 45 hours is 5% of my normal 900 hour year. That one contract provision has been the equivalent of a 5% pay raise.

I’ve managed to have good luck getting a pretty nice, cheap AirBnB just outside EWR. I’ve even thought about just bidding the uncommutable EWR trips instead of getting a pad in the traditional
spots for JFK/LGA; haven’t decided yet.

yep. The EWR trips are awful, even by NY standards, they may go to some nice places but geeze they are about as bad as a trip can be by most standards, but especially in such a commuter heavy domicile. if I didn’t know better, I would think this is being done on purpose😒😒

Again, the 73N is a garbage airplane with garbage overnights. No one should come to it if they are senior to me
