What a tool. Yeah maybe someday, but not today where if I dip below that altitude it’s an automatic down

Nerd hat off, I’m still scarred by my type ride in the airplane when the DPE didn’t like my NDB approach where I stopped the descent 30’ above MDA and held it there. Jetstream 3100, 2am, hand flown (naturally, because there’s no autopilot in a Jetstream) into KEVV on a high speed layover.

Let’s not even talk about cross radial holding with one VOR receiver.

Payback day usage?

I have a two day trip. Day 1 RSV coverage is black. Day 2 RSV coverage is blue. How do I use a PB day on day 2 of the trip to drop it? Or am I SOL? Put it in iCrew but I suspect I’m going to get the usual “Capped Reserve Days.”

I’m a professional reservist….not really sure how this line holder thing works….

Highly recommend you check out Scheduling Alert - 20-25 - Payback Day Usage, dated 18 Dec 2020….lots of good info there.

Whole trip has to be blue, unless you use your APD then those rules apply. I believe scheduling can manually put a PB day on the day/days you used the APD.

IVD also works, idealy put the IVD on a day less than or equal to 3:45 (since that day will now pay the IVD rate) and then PB the other day.

Additionally, PB days have to start on day 1 of the trip unless there is an APD or IVD already sitting on day 1.

Default IVD use wit

I used two IVD days ona three day trip, London 15.45,
I put the PD on the last day, which holds the credit of 8.15 and the toe IVDs which are worth 3.5, each for second vacation block. So I got paid 15.15 for the whole three days drop! Not bad,

but we need to get 5.15 a day for vacation day!
