Thanks. Tried that, but then it takes both versions of each trip off. I can move one of the two to Work Calendar, but then that defeats the purpose of automating it because I have to modify each individual trip.

As an aside, when I share it with my Google calendar it shows correctly.

Default Schedule question

If I pick up a trip that has carry out credit into the September bid period between now and the 11th when bidding closes for September, will that carry out credit count toward my September schedule, or did the carry out trip need to be on my schedule before bidding opened on August 4th?

It counts in September. Also remember that if it is a credit trip, all the credit goes into September as well.

Thank you for the reminder about the credit being applied to the last day. That helps even more to get in the LCW for September.

Last I knew, PBS takes a snapshot of your DBMS schedule to update its own calendar at the time the bid window closes. The impact can be both good and bad, depending on your awareness and objective

What are chances of getting hired at Delta after 7-8 years as a USAF pilot?

Not zero.

Apply. Update frequently. If you go regional in the meantime, update your app every month or so.

The matrix Delta uses is dark and mysterious.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

This, absolutely. I know peeps with more quals/time than me when I got hired that didn’t. And I’ve known people that I was in shock they got the interview.

Over the next several months....questionable. Over the next several years.....100%.

That's assuming that person has a decent flying record, not an jackass, etc...etc.... But I'm of the opinion the pool is going to drain very quickly over the next couple years.

I've been trying to get on with Delta for a decade and a half. I've put an incredible amount of time and every into my app. Got a fix it letter a decade ago. Fixed it. Never heard anything. Went to a hiring fair in Atlanta. Never heard anything. Had Delta pilot after Delta pilot submit recs for me internally. Never heard anything. I'd basically given up, but been updating my app just in case.

Five Days ago I finally got a chance to take the assessment test, which I did this morning. I'm 18 years past the time I was originally hoping to have a chance to interview. But, if I did well enough, that chance may come soon. We'll see. But don't give up.
