The first question if anything ever happens: "Well, did you brief it?"

The most common debrief item on a line check: "You really should brief that."

Fairly certain you and I flew together a couple weeks ago. 😛

Not by me. You won’t be criticized by me if you have an effective but brief briefing. I like to point out FOM 5.1.1, especially the fifth and sixth sentences that give us guidance on how to be brief. Especially in this MV cycle where we fly the same approach multiple times.

Default Navblu

Is there a way to get the NAVBLU analyze function to work consistently? Sometimes it seems to work but sometimes it returns a lot of trips that that are not within the parameters. I think I remember reading it did not work but that was a while ago - anybody have any luck with this?

Thanks Scoop

Same! My saying when teaching was always "brief briefings make for good listeners."

I've had the same problem too (probably something I'm doing wrong). The only way I've had consistent results is by analyzing specific lines of my bid. I know that doesn't give a full picture but at least it's something.

I’d I remember right, you have to remove any condition bids to make it work. Like prefer off. At that point it seems less than useful as I care more about which days than which trips, but that’s just me.
