Why not just wait to complete WARTS and preflight check until the cabin is secure. Then you can sit with the mask on, they can close the door, then we can continue with business like professionals and keep the public charade going at the same time. They close the doors early enough as it is.

That’s my plan. Plus keep the door closed during boarding to, you know, save lives.

My WARTS brief normally takes 35 minutes, with numerous “pauses” for reflecting on various “what if scenarios”.... For safety’s sake....

You can't do that! Briefs are meant to be BRIEF. But, you will also get criticized during training if you actually perform a brief briefing . You know, fly like we train and train like we fly...
