Yes, Delta has plans for RDU. I don't have any specifics on AC or destinations. Some of that may be loaded in the reservation system though. It's on the list of markets we are looking to expand in. We're expanding there vs starting a war in CLT. It is a similar reason we are planning growth in AUS vs DFW or IAH.

Last I read this was also happening at AUS. Over 100+ insourced jobs combined at those stations.

RDU was handled by DGS, which is owned by Delta. This may not be an actual increase in positions but hopefully means they will be running a tighter ship there now.

We’ll see. A (former) DGS ramper I know there said they were all let go (his words) last week and given the chance to apply for the Delta positions. If the same people end up in charge of the some people on the ramp...

Yeah... management seems to like to “reset the seniority clock” every few years. Have even been known to create alter ego servicing companies to bid against themselves.

Vacation question. If I bid 2 weeks of vacation in the primary bid, over a bid transition ie last week June into first week of July.....can I slide those two weeks separately?

It would be great to be able to separate the block of vacation so I could effectively get two separate weeks of vacation in the summer. Thoughts? Strategies?

Yes, this is a popular approach. The days inside of a particular bid month can be slid away from the "ajoining" days on the other side of the boundary.

Yes, just realize you could have 10 days in one month and 4 in the next. I believe you can slide the 10 and the 4 but I don’t think you can just slide a portion of the 10 days to break it up into two 7 day vacations.
