The new priority isn’t in the system, so we’re just as curious too

I don’t see it as a recruiting tool at all. If they wanted a true recruiting tool they’d do priority and check in the way American does it. However, in our new contract they are now giving positive space on our second flight if we’re unable to get on the first one. Same as Delta, I believe? Just maybe this will alleviate some of this and revenue passengers won’t be affected as much. So you’re right, Delta isn’t doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. They’re just trying to take care of their customers the best way they can.

More to the point, I don’t think they would have done this if the market for pilots wasn’t what it currently is. JMHO.

I wonder how the POV of the 9E contributors will change on this topic after they make it to a major...

So no. You are not getting it even in the same universe with 'right'. Sorry i cant be any more complete in an answer to your question.
I'm not surprised you can't answer the question. It's OK if you don't get it, son. There's no need to pretend like you do. We are all here to learn

They will probably remember where they came from, unlike some others...

You are always welcome to reinstate our flow through or simply staple us and bring everyone (and the planes) onboard to the bottom of the Delta list.
You do understand that is a management not union decision. I can also assure you that should management decide to merge the two airlines you will not be asking for a staple. You will be demanding far more. It is however a moot point as management controls mergers and owns the seniority list.

Exactly. At 9E I’ve always been willing to lend positive advice and constructive criticism to those I know trying to make it from low time to corporate/regionals. I was once there before too believe it or not, just like everyone else...

I’m also happy that Delta created a program for employees to have a path to become pilots too. Excellent opportunity for those who may have not had the means before.

Wow. Keep drinking from that bitterness cup son.

Its near certainty most all of us 'remember where we came from'. See. Its a very personal and human thing.

Might i suggest you consider where those you castigate have 'come from' to arrive where they are before throwing them on the fire of injustice you have been stoking?

I'm not even sure what you're ranting about anymore. Suggesting a little humility counts as bitterness for you? You're confused and simply a lost cause.
