S2B... Only 1 pass rider or can my entire family use them? The wording on Deltanet seems to indicate the former.

You are correct. One pass rider can use it to accompany you on your layover.

Yes, but the S2B lets a parent come at a higher priority than they usually could otherwise (assuming your parents doesn't have S2, ie, if you're not married I believe)

I've been planning a vacation for the family in February, and just now noticed that my planning week is a week earlier than what I was awarded. OOPS!!! So, my awarded week is in Feb/March, can I slide all of it up by a week or can I only slide the portion that's already in February?

Only the portion in the Feb *bid period*, which includes March 1st (so, one more day than you were possibly thinking).

If you’re senior enough not to have to sweat coverage, you can get the days you need, just not paid. If you have other “must have” days off that would get sacrificed to do so, you could consider using IVD(s) to recover the “lost” pay?

That's what I thought, good idea on the IVD. If coverage is good enough to slide then I can just IVD the remaining days in March and it's like nothing happened.

Can somebody back me up here?

I have XX days 30, 31 Dec and 2 Jan. I am on RES 1 and 3 Jan. There is a 0% chance I can fill up in January.

If I pick up a GS that ends on 1 or 3 Jan, all the credit will go towards my Jan RES guarantee and I will essentially be working for free (since most of the trips are 30 hour layovers with minimal block in December). Any trip that ends on 2 Jan and has a 30 hour layover which covers 1 Jan will essentially be a normal RES GS since there is no block on my scheduled RES day and all the trip credit will hit on 2 Jan, a scheduled XX day.

Thanks for looking.

Sounds like you pretty much have it right. Be aware that any deadhead credit will be applied to the day it was flown. Also you can try to move x days to cover 1st or the 3rd if reserve coverage is ok.
