Are all senior pilots pay protected, or just the next senior pilot in line who should have been trained/converted first?
Pilots who don't require training can be converted ahead of pilots who do with no pay implications. Among pilots requiring training if someone is converted out of seniority everyone senior is pay protected. If you opted to convert last you waive any pay protection.

In addition, conversion is by category. So somebody junior to you in another base could convert before you but you're not pay protected since each base is its own category.

Thanks, I just noticed my new pay rate kicked in a month early and classified as pay protection on my PAS. I wasn’t entirely sure what the deal was. Early Christmas I guess !

Anyone know of a dentist in the Peachtree City/Tyrone area that does not charge out of pocket over insurance costs for regular check-ups?

Hey any SLI's out there care to comment on how building your schedule works? Do the junior folks always work weekends and crappy periods? Can't find a lot of info on this.

Seniority really does not come into play when building your schedule as an SLI. It of course does come into play during your fly months. You get six off days you can place where ever you like during your SLI month; plus you have about 6 periods you can ask to have off as well....
