I have a reserve questions for the gurus....
I start a 2-day block of reserve tomorrow. I was not assigned a trip by 3pm today, nor was I assigned short call. I always have been given one or the other. Am I basically off tomorrow, and they have to assign me something by 3pm tomorrow for the next day? Can they put something on my line at 1201am tonight with a 1001am report, etc? Thanks.

And...the 3 o'clock base time only applies to the first day. You are on continuous long call until your next day off or you are assigned something else before then.

I don't know what they said or didn't say. Probably neither do you. But that's not the point here. Not being able to retroactively prove your innocence doesn't prove your guilt. Ever.
We simply have to defend against the methodology of that nonsense. That's not even a defense of the idiots who cheat the SC system. Its a defense of all of us and of the process in general. Whats next, a sick call assault where they data dump years of "big data" in your lap and say "now prove you really were sick?"
Even if every single guy accused in this little creative sting operation is 100% guilty, this methodology of going after them cannot be allowed to stand.

At some point you may have to concede that some people could care less about "all of us".
They could care less if:
- Our profit sharing is slightly less because of a canceled flight.
- Someone else has to cover what should have been their flight because they actually were in position.
- Pax will now book away from Delta next time or maybe forever because they were inconvenienced, missed their cruise, a business meeting, etc.
In spite of them not caring they were defended vigorously by "all of us".
This is the best job in the world but it nonetheless may entail missing births, funerals, holidays, weddings and sometimes doing what we may not always want to do - like sitting a hundred short calls and not being assigned a trip. (I have checked all of the above.) They could have bid another airplane and gotten more senior but decided to game the system because of greed and the fact they only really cared about themselves. Or maybe they were senior and just were gaming the system.
Not "all of us" have a lot of sympathy.
Maybe they'll eventually get their job back. I don't know. But if nothing else this has put the fear of God in someone thinking of sitting DTW short call in LAX. A little religion now and then is not always a bad thing.

For a RES month into a hard line month: if assigned a carry over trip, does the pay go towards Reserve guarantee or the hard line month? What about the extra days worked (in the hard line month)?

In the real world people have to prove their innocence all the time. What methodology would be preferable? The number of times they called in sick when they were given a trip on short call? Not likely to succeed given its vagueness. The harm they caused "all of us" by canceled flights? Quantifiable but not legally justifiable within the PWA.

If you want to play fast and loose with the rules, it's kind of like gaming the IRS. It will catch up with you sooner or later.
Does a PCS run ever just get skipped?
Swap with pot in and shows active and no denial reasons but the 17:00 run has come and gone and nothing.
