Ive said it before, and Ill say it again. Some of what RA did while he was CEO will come to effect us negatively in the future.

Asia, mainly the Japan NRT reduction decisions are already starting to show negatively.

You can see from the article and if you read between the lines, ED is not even sure if the draw down of NRT was a good idea.

DL/NWA was a beast in Japan. We had the loyalty, business and support. I get it times change but RA's decision to vacate the area so quickly and not play "nice" with the Japanese has created a region with no seats for Delta Air Lines.

IT looks like we are lost and we are trying to reestablish ourselves by partnering up with Korean and China Eastern.

This is sad.

Didn't you forget to put the part about an "Else Start Next"? What good is a second bid group if there's no trigger to make the process move beyond the first bid group? You'll get ravaged by SLG otherwise.

Bid assist window is supposed to be open till 2200. I have been calling the last couple hours and it is going straight to voicemail. Anyone have any other contacts to call?

My very limited understanding of this is that if it cannot honor your request for Min Credit, it will just proceed with your other bid qualifiers. No need to create an Else Start Next and entirely same bid group. No big deal either way, just saves an extra copy/paste.

You, sir, deserve a beer. From the PBS Gouge 17-01, page 122:

"If the bid group containing the Set Condition Minimum or Maximum Credit bid does not have an Else Start Next Bid Group and the bid group does not have a Clear Schedule and Start Next Bid Group, then PBS will ignore the bid Min or Max credit bid. The means that PBS will process the bid group with the full LCW. It is important to note that this process is different from denial. Although PBS may eventually go into denial in the bid group, it will not be because of the min or max credit bid being restricted. PBS will initially process the bid group considering all of the subsequent Prefer Off, Set Condition, and Avoid preferences."

Under daily trip coverage, what does PN mean? It's not listed on the help screen.

I keep hearing they are pulling 757 out of desert to do Hawaii stuff. Yet we still are taking deliveries of 737s that are etops and now satcom equipped. Would it be safe to say that spending the Money to equip 47 planes with etops was a horrible decision if they will never do etops?
