Anyone know where one would go to see how long one needs to be off certain medications before getting back on flying status? Thanks

Denny

Denny:

I wouldn't bet my license on the info here, but it's a starting point--

You're way senior to me so I'd say you should show up 3-4 hours after taking said medication and don't worry about a thing...you'll be fine.

Just eat a few poppy seed muffins on your way to work. I hear they clear everything out.

I called ALPA aeromedical and spoke with a doctor who had all the details and an explanation for both prescription and over the counter medications.

I thought Big E's advice was the best.

Default Insurance question

Just curious: My wife is considering retiring a little early from her job, and we are currently using her health insurance. I am assuming we have to wait until next year "open enrollment" to switch to Delta health coverage? I will check tomorrow, but just curious if anyone has experience going through the motions here...

Thanks

Pretty sure you can change. Your wife "losing" her insurance is a life event and you can sign up before open enrollment. I believe you have a certain amount of time to apply after your wife quits though.
