Chit chat as well. With a dash of pathetic added though.

CQ question for you all: I really didn't like the simulator I was in for my last CQ, but I don't remember the number (just the experience); is there somewhere to look back to find which box I was in?

Yes, look at your schedule for that month. After the * on the days with the sim, you'll see "S34A" or whatever. S is sim, 3 is the aircraft type, 4 would be the sim number and A would be the sim period.

Default Peachtree City House for Rent

We are going to be out of our house for the next 18 months and are hoping to rent it out to a Delta family relocating to PTC.

Good schools, north side of PTC, 30 minutes or less to the Camp Creek lot. Easy way to try out the area before you commit. PM me for details.

Oh yeah...for the sweetener, the golf cart comes with it so you can fully assimilate right off the bat.

I've got a newb question:
I have vacation set for the 8th of Jan. How can I slide or move that to the first week in Jan or some week in Feb or March?
iCrew doesn't seem to give good feedback!

Thanks in advance.

When you bid your Jan schedule, you can try to slide it + or - any number of days. But you can only do that in the bid period.

For Feb or Mar, you'll have to try Vacation Move-ups. You do that in iCrew - basically, you rebid it. Only works if there are weeks with open slots. For Feb and Mar there might be.

You are asking two different things. Moving vacation in month is a slide. Moving vacation to a different month is a vacation move-up or swap.

In month is easy and is done when you bid for that month via PBS.

SET CONDITION > VACATION SLIDE.

It should display any vacations for the month in question that are eligible to slide.

You can slide it forward (-) or back (+) a specific number of days or ask for a range of days forward or back. But you may not be able to hold it. For example if you want to slide your vacation forward to new years day you would have to be senior enough to hold that day off or you will most likely be denied.

I am not too familiar with move ups and vacation swaps so I would recommend finding a notepad that covers those. I do believe that the move ups are run monthly but I am not familiar with the timeline.

Here is a link to the Scheduling reference handbook which is a good source for most of these questions. You will have to log in on the DALPA site. Once you log in I recommend you save it to your desktop for quick reference.

Good luck.

Just as a PSA, if you are thinking of a charitable donation to a school prior to the end of the year. The company has a program called "Matching Gifts for Education" where they'll match your donation an eligible pre-K through Post-Graduate college, 1 for 1. You donate $100, they also donate $100.

You do it all on-line (or if you're donated since 7/1/16 you can submit it for a match). Search DeltaNet for "Matching Gifts for Education", it's the first link that comes up.
