That was a PLAD thing (thanks, guys!). You should be able to download the powerpoint for each lesson, which (if the 73 is like the bus fleet) will give a lot of detail in what you'll be doing.

If you are traveling by yourself reserve the JS - you will not get bumped for weight with a reservation.

If traveling with your family try to get on a 757 flight.

PLAD? What's that? So I take it we can no longer get the full DIG?

4th floor cubiclites who are sort of the standard text of training.

The new student DIG is an fleet common thing driven by then. Feel free to express your displeasure...

This was a fourth floor decision, not PLaD. PLaD was just complying with what they were told. It's gotten a lot of negative feedback (surprise surprise). The full student DIG for CQ is now back up on the 88 fleet. Not sure about other fleets.

Airplane geek question: Is there a good place at ATL to take the kids to watch airplanes?

There don't seem to be any good places to stop along the perimeter road.

Probably on the Northside near the GO. Renaissance hotel area.

Check out the Delta museum while you're there, there's a 747 in the lot so you can't miss the place!

If you want to see lots of general aviation planes take them to PDK airport and go have a burger while watching the planes at the Downwind restaurant. There is also a little playground area next to the ramp where the kids can play and still watch planes

Thanks for the tips, fellas.

I was wondering if there's a place under the east & west sides of ATL to maybe get a face-full of airplanes. Maybe we'll drive around and explore to find something like that. Look for me short final...my kids & I might be the ones being arrested.

I was leaving the terminal at ATL yesterday and chuckled to myself a bit at how much louder the Maddog is than the 777. The MD sounds like it's in burner on departure.
