Everyday there are less regional pilots than there were the day before due to hiring at other airlines...and to a very small extent some retirements at the regionals. Republic fling bankruptcy due to pilot shortages is just the beginning. On the mainline side you have the retirements that are coming everyday. The last AE we had was just the beginning of the training waterfall.

All of the management types with their overrated MBAs, and thought processes stuck like its 2008, don't get how much the playing field has changed until now. Anybody could see this coming.

I can't recall outside of the convoluted PWA verbiage, but ALPA has published gouge bulletins. Log into your ALPA account and search the library under scheduling topics.

The quick instruction is wait until 14 days prior, then book under "company business" in Travelnet. Not crew travel, not XCM for front end. If you're due a premium seat (transoceanic), call CPSC for upgrade. Call CS to advise of said deviation. Enjoy the ride.

PWA - Section 8 DH. Unlike the rest of the PWA a non-lawyer can actually understand most of it on the first reading.

I just cut and pasted a bunch of it to my desktop for quick reference.

Default Question

Does anyone happen to know the magic formula for getting an interview with Delta? I have been amazed lately by the mix of friends I know that have gotten an interview and my qualifications that are better but have not gotten the chance? Any help?

Still no April Seniority nor Category List on DeltaNet. Is the guy who posts these lists out for Spring Break?

The PBS Pairings List usually visible NLT the 3rd of each month wasn't up til yesterday afternoon.

Next, they'll be publishing the monthly schedule right at the contractual requirement...

Are these coincidences...or part of "the act" during negotiations?
