You can pay a change fee at the airport and go earlier. I have been on real tickets twice recently and the agents would not waive the fee. Maybe use some whiteout on the P on your ID might get a better result!

Sched/PCS gurus....

Picked up my first WS today (noob here)... it fit the mold perfectly but it IS a Spill trip into Feb. Can scheduling add any flying onto a Spill trip if it's a WS? And if they do (which is what i DONT want), is there any GS pay associated with it?

Welcome aboard! Yes, all spillover trips are subject to change. However, that change occurs when the following months bid packages are released on the 4th. Your trip will not change in Feb. FYI, if you had a trip change, you are guaranteed all pay for the current month, but any reduction to pay in the following month is not pay-protected. And any changes that add days/time are straight pay, not premium.

I think the only time you need to worry is if your spillover trip is changed when the next month's bid package is published, and that's already happened for Feb.

You can always be rerouted, it's as likely to be a good deal as a bad deal. If you're extended enough, it will trigger premium pay. And if you're a lineholder in Feb and the reroute makes you illegal for your first trip, you are pay protected.

Now it's with the FA's, and they use our area as a trash dumpster. Or they take our sleeping setups. Even more convenient, they use the first class toilet as a table when they bring up crew meals. Yeah, our food sits on the crapper.

Ok, and thanks gentlemen. Hopefully they will leave this one alone... If they do and it turns into something uncommutable then there was no point in me WS'ing it in the first place... but lesson learned in that case.

You can still pick up time up to ALV + 15.

FWIW The only thing that I would add here is that the last time I reached Guarantee (with 4 days left in the bid period, all RSV), I still had to call CS to remind them that i was "FULL". May have been a fluke, or whatever the case had been, but they essentially said "Whoops, you're right... Marking you out FULL, have a good 4 days."

Good to have your perspective. I got full several times over the last 11 months and it was always on my schedule as such.

I'd say if full isn't on there after you finish the trip that gets you full, then a call to CS is probably wise.

That said, if they keep erroneously assigning trips to people who are full, then maybe they need to fall on that sword a few times to get them to fix their system.

Go online and sign up for "total rewards"..THats the loyalty program for a bunch of hotels.

We have stayed in VEGAS in Caesars for about $60. Total reward will always send you good deals for many Vegas Strip hotels.
