Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
" The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is closely monitoring individuals who may have been exposed to the new strain of bird flu that has been found in a flock of turkeys in Indiana, a CDC health official said on Friday."

Turkeys are terrifying.
One person's emotional support can be another person's emotional trauma. I have no idea why someone at the OCC thought this was a good idea.

I am no techno expert--reason #27 I fly the dog!--but I got the gobbledygook on the reasons report when I logged on to DeltaNet via the top option...the newer fancy one. Logged out then back on via the old browser option and it worked fine.

Delta Lack of IT strikes again! I was locked out of iCrew this morning, had to call the support desk for a reset. At least someone was there to answer the phone and did the reset. I was surprised, as it was Sunday morning at 7am! But I guess in India it's really Sunday afternoon....
Interesting conversation with Scheduling today:
I called about 2 rotations for tomorrow that were showing in Open Time (NYC320B). Turns out the scheduler NOOBed them b/c she had no one left on Reserve and no one who WSed for them. She said she NOOBed them to avoid paying someone for a G.
Hold that thought...
I talked to a scheduler two months ago in a similar circumstance who said the originally assigned base gets first crack at the trip - to include G - before it gets NOOBed.
These 2 answers are 180 out from each other. Anyone know which one is right / contractually correct? Or maybe it's situation-dependent and schedulers can do whatever they want to git 'er dun?

Out of base reserves come before greenslips. Steps 7 and 8 in the coverage ladder. Greenslips are step 17. Section 23 of the contract. Keep it on speed dial!
