Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Wow. Only 14% of DL pilots have done the call to action for the White House to enforce Open Skies with the ME3. I'm sorry, but that is just pathetic. 10 seconds of your time people. Just do it...

Wow that is pathetic. It's really easy, it's a form letter that's already filled out! You just have to click the link and type your name in and send. So easy. If we can get over 90% to vote in a contract we should be able to get this as well. This is something that could jeopardize your careers. If you haven't done it yet, please don't put it off, open the email from ALPA, click the link and send it. As the above poster said, it takes 10 seconds of your time.

First world problem
I got my first GS, I'm on reserve. I know what I'm supposed to be paid, and on my schedule the trip shows a g. But how do I know it's processing correctly, where do I look? It doesn't add to my credit total at bottom of sched, which sort of makes sense. But....where/how?
Thanks

Im more worried about my own company's drive to outsource all of our own flying via JVs and investments.

Yeah....sort of. It's on there, just not in a way that makes sense to me. What I would expect is something along the idea of 'your pay this month will be res guar plus 1 day gs.' That may be what I"m looking at, but it's not that obvious to me.

I guess many don't give ALPO the time of day anymore. I quit supporting the PAC, quit opening ALPO emails, and really just quit caring about ALPO period. They have ZERO credibility with me. I do, however, have 1.9% taken out of every paycheck. This is way to much considering the little value I see coming back from them. How much did they spend on selling this POS TA? Again, no credibility results in few people taking 10 seconds of there time to do this.

The only chances we have of influencing Congress are on the issues we happen to share with A4A or the Delta Air Lines PAC (I'm waiting to see what high-priced wh0re--I mean lobbyist--the company hires as "SVP of Congressional Relations.) We have ZERO meaningful influence on issues we oppose the management on. Exhibit A: FAR 117.
Anyway, to have a voice with our legislators, we need at least one of these:
- Numbers. A high percentage of registered, likely voters. We don't have numbers.
- Money. A ****load of it. Not a couple hundred a year each. Unless we agree to tithe our paychecks to the ALPA PAC, we are irrelevant. We don't have money.
- Some way to exploit or invent victimization or entitlement. "Pilot Lives Matter" won't cut it.
I used to contribute to and support the ALPA PAC. But after looking at the money thrown around by the ME3, A4A, and others...we have zero influence. Sure, the lowlife politicians on Capitol Hill will pat us on the head, pretend to listen, and cash our checks...and do exactly what they were going to do before we gave them money.
"Call to action." What a joke. It's all a ploy to get the money rolling into ALPA PAC. How much are we paying for overhead there, anyway?
p.s. the latest number on the TA sales job is $1,700,000...or about $130 per pilot.
