Got to be careful with this stuff - "I am so young and a Captain already".
Could get into your head.
In 20 years in the sim I have seen a good share of gifts to aviation.

Don't be a gift to aviation! Make 'em pay a good price for you!

I have flown with a few sub 40 capts. If things keep moving there will be quite a few 2014 hires upgrading in their mid/late 30s.

Just looking at the scheduled retirement list. There are currently roughly 20 pilots under the age of 30. Youngest being 26 or 27.

You whippersnapper! Pretty sure you were 31. Happy Turkey day!
I'm 46 but, I think I was 31-32 when I checked out left seat on the DC-9. I got recalled 5 years later, then got the bid for the 75/76 when I was 42. When that training burst ended, there was a guy 2 years younger than me on the list. (Even though he's a Cubs fan, he's a good guy. . )
With that being the case, I'm sure there are plenty of captains under 40 out there, so wear a helmet.
