Air France job cuts
AF is having a labor dispute...to say the least. Lots of in-fighting on the eve of an announcement to cut jobs.
Non-pilot employees demanding that the "elite, upper class pilots" be forced to take a pay cut.
A member of AF management had his shirt ripped off trying to flee a meeting with employees where the job cuts were being rolled-out.
I wonder how AF likes the Big 3 in the European market.
Gonna be interesting to see how this unfolds and if their trauma - as one of our partners - impacts Delta.

Delta is pulling 12 additional 757's out of the desert for the spring/ summer flying in 16. These are not the NBA birds.

Obviously your source can't be named or you would have. Nice to hear but not fact until there is confirmation. Growth or replacement? I hope you are right but I am trying to surmise the motive. It makes me go Hmm. 737s are "cancelled" and 757s are brought back. Win, win?

Awesome news! Hope it's locked in. On another note, what about killing the TA thread and putting everything here again? There is no TA at the moment and that's really just a ****ing contest.

Bidding Strategy help-
Going through training on the 7ERB NYC, was told to shadow bid. I watched the Youtube video and read the gouge, but there really is not much there. I understand it pays the higher of what I can hold or OE trips. Question is, I finish training the first week of November, should I try and bid trips and reserve in the first couple of weeks of Nov. and try and bid days off towards the end? Any help would be appreciated.

Good point, now that you put it that way. It'd be nice to just come here to see what's going on but I guess this would just become the battle ground that the TA thread is now.
