You will have to wait until the 20th. If you are in a short staffed category you might want to sit back and wait for a premium trip. Double pay is better then straight rates. Reserve availability can ce checked now for next month.

That's what I thought.

Anyway, if true, good for the FA's. That's a lot of kitty litter and Fancy Feast. Maybe it will allow them stop pillaging FC meals to bring home to Miss Fuzzy.
You know waay too much about cats.......hmmmmm...

I think that was one of the options that was discussed. The Company did this to achieve three things. To put a stop to unionization activity, avoid 3b4 being triggered, and to poke a stick in our eye.

Actions such as this may have unforeseen results. While I don't begrudge anyone good fortune, I think this will have the effect of galvanizing the pilots.

You have to wait until the 20th to pick up off the open time board, but if pilots have anything on the swap board as a straight pickup you can grab that immediately.

Can you say labor risk on the table?

How does this avoid 3B4? Looks like it would trigger about a 1 % pay increase for us if i'm looking at it right.

I know there will be the usual comments 'slap in the face' 'insulting' etc... regarding non contract pay raises. Really? Come on... Keep in mind that we were offered practically the same thing in our TA. We elected to stick with what we've got, and to reorganize our bargaining agent, which is in process and can't be engaged until that process is complete. I'm glad that this will help trigger 3.b raises if available, that keeps us in the game. This non contract raise shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. We'll get ours when we get our act together again and return to negotiating. The key though will be to avoid the concessions and improve the important areas that were not addressed. Be glad for your fellow employees, and look forward to our raises that we deserve and will achieve. This only helps our cause. And keep in mind, our profit sharing will outpace theirs if we don't complete the process in a timely manner, and we will be getting raises through 3.b possibly as well.

Guess I should eat my words. Never figured the Flt attendants and ground staff would get such a deal. Maybe we use "Me Too" off them for once...

3.b4 is a rolling 18 months, and it was just triggered in April wasn't it? Does that mean we won't be able to take advantage of this raise?
