ATC doesn't issue instructions, they issue clearances. Whether you accept the clearance is up to you. If the clamshells are extended, spoilers are up, and smoke is stlll dissipating from wheel spin up, maybe they should wait to issue clearances till when you are well into the high-speed turn off. Just sayin'...

True, but it will be back strong next week. The current plan is to shut down the Delta TA thread after voting closes.
So this is where the guys will either say "We are all doomed!" or "Man, did we just dodge a bullet!"
By the way, those sentiments work for both the Pro and Anti TA folks - depending on if you are for or against the TA along with it passing or failing will determine which sentiment you espouse.
