I have a long layover in LHR coming up, what are some of the unknown cool things to do?

Do they have an RAF museum, Royal Navy Museum or something like that? (I am Retired Naval Aviation) any really cool bars to have some pints in?
The Imperial War Museum is easy to get to on the Tube and is pretty cool. They have a V-1 and a V-2 rocket...I was shocked at how huge they were. If you are a book nerd, hit Cecil Court, just off Charing Cross for some awesome antiquarian bookstores. Pubs abound...

I would agree with illini90. The pub crawl I spoke of earlier starts at the Imperial War Museum at 10:00 AM when they open.

Due to popular (PM) demand, I opened a drop box for the pub crawl pdf, best printed on legal size paper or accompanied by a gps for better detail of street names etc.

If you start early, take the IWM loop, the best leg is the Tower of London to Covent Garden loop ending at "The Harp".

Warning: There are one or two of the pubs that are closed on weekends, "The Bell" comes to mind

Cheers, Enjoy

For those of you that did the survey, I told you so. ALPA barely looks at it.

Oh, they clearly looked at it in crafting their opener. Too bad that was meant for public consumption and they had no intention of actually negotiating anything along those lines.

OK, so I'll ask you the same thing. Prove it.

Facts:

1. MEC chairman stated that the pilot survey clearly showed profit sharing was not to be touched.

2. MEC and its administration all stated that our opener was crafted by aligning itself with our survey results.

3. TA has reduced profit sharing in it.

4. Your LEC chairman stated unequivocally that the TA does NOT follow the direction of the MEC given to the negotiating committee.

Proof.

I would like to see the survey results. As a paying dues member, I should have a right to see them. Prove it.
