Lemme guess.... It's a fleeting opportunity based on a quick TA and a quick vote....

Reread the letter. It's for AIRBUS 330 openings AND narrowbody captain openings. Not 330 narrowbody captain openings....

Wish it was the other way around...

Can I do this, and how? What hoops are involved for customs etc., what paperwork do I need in place? USAir doesn't usually have a "pre-listing", you just walk up and fill out papers at the desk, I kind of think I'd need this listed before?

Junglebus probably does this every day... Anyone? Thx
Heh I haven't deviated from an Int'l DH, but it shouldn't be much different than jumpseating internationally for personal travel. You'd be clearing customs each way regardless. I have jumpseated on US from SJD to PHX before, but they're AA now. You have to list beforehand, preferably before leaving the U.S., using the id90 website - see jumpseatinfo.org for exact procedures. Clear customs into mexico, then go to US ticket counter and request jumpseat. By the way, US used to use Terminal 1 at SJD, not sure if they're down at Terminal 2 with AA and DL yet. Don't forget to deviate on VRU.
