I've used EasyBid for years and find it very useful. l One interesting feature is the ability to download the bid results after they are published and evaluate what trips were available at your seniority. It can help you analyze your PBS preferences to get better at bidding. The companion program EasySwap is also useful for putting in multiple PCS Swap with the Pot requests.
I've never used Bid Central and only used the PBS desktop app a few times, so my review comes from a skewed perspective.

This pops into my head everytime an AE award is posted:

Interesting results. Was surprised to see so many SEA73NB guys bail from there to other places, LAX and SLC... I guess they were just getting anywhere west before, and now fine tuning.
It's hard to add up the plus/minus of guys above you to see what it does to you, as what category list do you apply the results to? Previous two AEs haven't even trained yet, so those folks still show on the current May15 category list; many of this AE's results are guys that got something last AE (NB base swaps). Guess I'll have to wait for the official Projected Categories from this AE to come out... Maybe if I apply these results to the most recent proj cat from last AE?
I'm getting confused with the speed of the AEs. Big picture is I THINK I moved up

In the next bid, once they've tweaked their needs for the Winter Schedule, they can add positions anywhere they need them, and anyone can bid them, right?
That's where the new hires will go.

So based on this ae result, where are the leftover vacancies that will be shoveled to the new hires over the next few classes?

Network has to give the Winter flying schedule to Crew Resources, then those guys have to look at the manning and training requirements in each fleet, then they will decide where to put newbs in the next A/E. Any guess today will be wrong tomorrow.
