I will let the news filer out as it appears most do not want a heads up! (For those who do, I have your e-mail addresses and will fire off random thoughts accordingly)

BTW most of this stuff is leaked by design, do not be so stupid to think otherwise.

ACL: Now, how do I get on that mailing list???

Since I've done it in real life, I should be allowed to teach those particular new hires how to scope the landing gear on the 88. Anyone wanna reconsider their AE or MD preferences?

Oh wait, I think they teach that on CD now.

There is not mailing list. It was a point made in jest to people heckling about this thread and the rumor and conjure, though I have been asked by many pilots to start one.

I do e-mail a decent amount of guys though when something pertinent comes out.

PM me

On the bright side, I know a guy up there who installs security systems, and I'm sure you could find someone willing to build you a biga$$ed fence....

In all seriousness, there are lots of nice affordable areas that would be great for exactly what you have in mind. However, I would forget the idea of bus service right off the bat. Don't even fool with public transportation in the Detroit area. It's awful.

A visual testament to the success of public assistance and the hope generated when all that a person has to look forward to is the receipt of their next goobermint check. Bulldoze the place and shoot to kill.

Sorry, don't have one handy. Any FNWA pilots know? If not, could y'all ask on your next trip and report back?

Thanks.

Regarding Call in Honest, etc... do the FNWA F/As have it in their contract? Just wondering.
http://www.nwaafa.org/docs/contract/AFA2006Final.pdf/

Quick scan reveals no "call in honest" travel benefits.
There are some provisions for what happens to their pay if a FA is "unable to commute" or a "no show".
Search the PDF for those terms.
