Why even bother with the SIL...I'm reserve 767b in ATL and haven't worked since August 14th. Currency expires October 31st, so I'll have to fly again sometime before then.

I agree, but you know full well that the only time you will fly with be the end of Nov. That is the way that it works.

Any word on next Delta Advance Entitlement? There was talk of one in August 2008 that never happened.

One thing on payback days. If you use them carefully they can generate a lot of hours pay wise. As a example. You personal drop a 3 day ATH trip from Atlanta. You apply one payback day to the first day of the trip. You get 11 hours pay for that day. Its often not best to use payback days for a entire trip. Its been a while since I used this method but I don't think there have been any contract changes that would stop you from doing it this way.

Almost 70 hours for me last month, looks like 60 something this moth doing trips that I swear are MD88 lines up and down the East coast to New York. You must be living right

I've heard early Oct. with 777 and 767-400.

Who knows, I've also heard it could be a big AE with backfill, so who knows.

Until it's official it's just rumor.
