Waiting for the "We can't afford to give you payrates like that" argument. "You see, fuel is our biggest expense and with the price coming down like it has we see an opportunity for huge stock price increases which combined with our stock options and bonuses will reap incredible windfalls for executives, so you must understand how we can't afford the payrates you're asking for."
In all seriousness, we get what we demand. Not a penny more. I have a bad feeling that ALPA went in again with an opener that was about what we all would expect as a final agreement.
I really, really hope I'm way off base and totally wrong; however, the association's reputation of adopting every LOA proposed by the company (without membership vote) has left me with little confidence that we will achieve a contract = C2K at best.
