Has anyone heard why alpa paid $270,000 for multi-colored polyester neckties?
Or was that some kind of money laundering scheme?

Thanks for all the input to my G/S award, and the pay issue. I did fly this on my days off (thus, it was a G/S trip), and did in fact receive the payback days. Just wasn't sure about pay issues, since my monthly projection went below 72:00, down to 69:36. I have no clue how my monthly projection decreased, mid month. My only activity from beginning of the month, until the time that my projection decreased, was the scheduling of the simulator bounces. Thanks again for all the help.
My suggestion for determining pay in a Reserve month would be to go to your timecard and look at the "Credit applicable to Reg G/S Pay:," then add that to any hours listed under "Res Assign-G/Slip Pay:." That should tell you pretty much what you are going to be paid in a Reserve month unless there is some kind of Distributive training pay to add in.

If you're talking about the NBA charter deal, my understanding is that it is in stone.
There was another 757 deal for 10 used aircraft that I also understand is a consummated deal.
It is hard to believe, but we are actually growing organically. My understanding is the 777 is not going to be a growing fleet. The 330 does most everything for a third of the price.
The A350 is the only top end jet coming.
Clamp or someone who tracks this stuff closer may correct me. It's been awhile since I read about or discussed this stuff.

If you want to go to the Alaskan bush, no better red salmon fishing than King Salmon or Illiamna. If you need road accessible, let me know...I know some places.

I don't know the exact formula, but if you're on RES for the month, and you get scheduled for a sim ride for currency, your pay projection will shift downward a few hours on your schedule. This is a good thing, as you'll actually be making a few more hours pay for the month. The days you go to training, your RES guarantee is prorated for those days, but then you also receive training pay for those days. The net benefit is a positive of about 2 hours more pay for the month. You'll have to look at your time card to see it broken down.
Is there a one-source guide for all the acronyms on iCrew? Specifically what is "IOEC?" Pretty certain "NOE" means tripped dropped due to no OE. No guide on Deltanet that I could find.
I'm going to the sim this month for 7ER to 765. I had an 82-hour line next month (on the 765) and now it shows 65hrs with most of the month "NOE." Seems like a pay cut.

"NOE": Not qualified yet due to no OE. Can't pick up/swap.
"IOEC": Dropped due to conflict with OE.
Will get paid value of awarded line regardless of current "Projection." Schedule is a work in process.
No, there is no guide to acronyms. It is an enigma clouded in a mystery.
