Reserve GS flown on days off pay single pay above the reserve guarantee plus you get payback days.

Greenslips flown on call days don't pay or payback, they are just a high yellow. Additionally, there is a codicil in the Faber college by laws that allows you to move an x day to the first day of a greenslip flown on call days...with scheduler approval. You have to ask for it.

I use the Irish lord in ninilchik ak for halibut and fish the Russian river for silver salmon on my own...you snag them in the mouth...you'll need to get a fishing license. The most important thing IMO is vehicle rental. Reserve your rental car early, I recommend a minivan to hold all your stuff. I pack my clothes in my cooler and mail them home. ANC has deep freezes in the airport in one of the 2 terminals.

I don't think a reserve GS will pay 2X if you are above guarantee. In any case I am not a good person to ask anything about guarantee - in 16 years of flying on and off again reserve I never once made it to the guarantee. So at least I got that going for me - Oh yeah, and on my death bed I will receive total consciousness.

There are a number of hotel changes that will take effect January 1, 2014.
NYC - At JFK we are moving from the troubled Doubletree/Radisson to a brand new property, the Crowne Plaza. Those of you who have frequent short JFK layovers have seen this Crowne Plaza being renovated. It is located next door to the Radisson.
There are three other changes in NYC that will start concurrently with this move, including FAR 117.
First, the cutoff time between short and long layovers will be extended from the current 13:30 free of duty (FOD) to 15:00 FOD. That translates to 16:30 scheduled block to block for domestic flights.
This change was approved due to the long history of complaints from pilots on those layovers that were in that 13:31-15:00 range of FOD times and the long drive to and from Manhattan. The drive made the long layover in downtown a lot shorter.

Is there a one-source guide for all the acronyms on iCrew? Specifically what is "IOEC?" Pretty certain "NOE" means tripped dropped due to no OE. No guide on Deltanet that I could find.

I'm going to the sim this month for 7ER to 765. I had an 82-hour line next month (on the 765) and now it shows 65hrs with most of the month "NOE." Seems like a pay cut.

There is an acronym list under Flight Ops/Admin/New Hire Pilots on the left side of the screen, but it does not include NOE.

Thanks for all the input to my G/S award, and the pay issue. I did fly this on my days off (thus, it was a G/S trip), and did in fact receive the payback days. Just wasn't sure about pay issues, since my monthly projection went below 72:00, down to 69:36. I have no clue how my monthly projection decreased, mid month. My only activity from beginning of the month, until the time that my projection decreased, was the scheduling of the simulator bounces. Thanks again for all the help.

NOE = Needs Operating Experience (OE).
