Who knows, by paying attention to both sides you might actually pick up information that will empower you to have a better QOL throughout a more lucrative career--if that silly notion appeals to you. If not, by all means, hitch your wagon to slowplay's train. In the meantime, feel free to submit some feedback:

Quick Surface question. I've been off for a while on vacation and having an issue charging the keyboard. Tablet level is 100% and Keyboard is 0%. I charged the Surface all night and had the unit Off. Keyboard works fine and even detached and re attached. I didn't know if I missed something as it worked fine on my last trip. Thanks
It can be asleep, and it will go to sleep, but it cannot be 'OFF' or the keyboard will not charge. I think since November I've turned mine of once, to reset it, but otherwise I leave it on all the time.
It's in the training CD if you haven't watched that yet, get to it. You have about a week to complete it and it took me 3 hours, you still won't know how to use it, but it's a start.

To charge the keyboard, the unit has to be 'ON', not off.

Go ahead and register, it only hurts for a minute...
The good news is, it's supposed to be limited to Delta pilots only and it's not anonymous, which is nice. I'd much rather know who I'm talking to.

Also, dust off the "female" attachment point on the tablet, where the keyboard connects. I have a friend (me ) that had food debris blocking one of the contacts.

Playground bully? For a former fighter pilot, you've got some thin skin. Good grief. Do you remember the coordinated attacks/smears from slowlplay and the usual DALPA suspects during the previous contract sales jobs? Of course you don't, because you weren't here. Suggest you enter "observation" mode and throttle back on "lecture" mode.

I am more than happy to listen to both sides of any story -- in fact I prefer to hear a dissenting view and am open to changing my mind. Ridiculing me for asking questions here does not add to the discussion. If you don't like me, just ignore -- it's really easy to do.
And seriously, if my saying that my mentor hasn't been helpful discourages somebody from becoming a mentor then I'm quite certain I've done Delta new hires a good service. Talking about thin skin.

I have a tax question for any informed readers:
I am sort of new to the ATL area, and when living in the Memphis area, I had always used a professional tax preparation professional. Last year, the pro i used i the PTC area made a mistake that nearly cost me several hundred dollars, but caught that mistake, and made it right before my tax report was sent off. The mistake was found due to a question i posed durning the preparation process. I am considering using Turbo Tax this year, and would like to get you guy's input. How confident you are using T/Tax wrt accuracy, and maximum tax efficiency? I live in the PTC area, and if you don't use T/Tax, who do you use to do your taxes. Many thanks.

Hope I'm not out of bounds by asking this on this forum, but does anyone have the administrator contact information for the "chit chat forum"? I created a log in a few months ago, now it will not let me back in. Can't find any contact information on the website itself.
