ATL-DTW is bad, but guess what, all of those commuters will be in ATL come the MOAB and the junior folk will be killing each other for JS to DTW!

I am ready for it. It will be my first time on 15 years where the airplane does not point to ATL. I did not know they knew how to go anywhere else!

It is. I have been there. As I have said before there is a "Foreclosure Hut" in the mall.

Ann Arbor is great, and I love that town. Go a little farther West and you get more house a nicer local and a lot cheaper. I am looking at 4000 sq ft for 200-250K and in great areas. (Probably not going to do it, but will keep my MD set for DTW over JFK!)

Have at it a Bar. Go experience a DTW winter in that thing. I am fairly certain that it would be cheaper to buy a 70K condo than to keep fuel in that thing trying to stay warm. Add to it, the water lines in and out of it would be frozen solid!

Nah, I've got an adapter for a ground power plug. I'll just get the rampies to leave one of these close to the airport fence. You seem to forget this has been successfully done, in short term parking none the less, out at DFW. All you need is sufficiently PO'd displaced pilots to get very creative with embarrassing housing solutions.

Anyone know where I can buy a whole lot of large NWA stickers for my camper? Maybe even a whole flock of Howard the Duck.

Now that is an idea. Make DAL pay for the gas too!

I'll buy the first case of Ramen!

Here's another option.

Good News! FEMA Trailers are back on sale by the Government after a long hiatus due to issues of formaldehyde.

It's stressful but not horrible. Nice thing is that if you get painted into a corner there's plenty of opportunities to two-leg it. Airtran also usually has seats and makes for a good commute to DTW, but not from DTW due to having to change terminals.

Bar, aren't you on the 73N? If you're holding that I seriously doubt you'll have to worry about getting bumped out of ATL. I'm a -N guy, and I think the great migration southward is being somewhat exaggerated (excepting me....)

What you were to have meals on this flight? Well, they didn't cater them.....We have PB and J.........
They're not eating it. Buddy of mine was told by a FA she takes it home for the cats. I believe him.
