Anyone have any experience with the M&H pants? I went cheapo on my last go-round and bought some lookalikes at Kohl's, but they haven't held up.

I figure I can buy M&H pants almost 2:1 vs Abbots. Are they cheap as well? I don't want to be back at this again until I need to add another inch to the waistline.
Have you tried AXIST no wrinkle pants at Kohl's? Mine have held up for years, on sale for $33 each.

Starting 3rd year for two pairs of M&H pants. They've held up great flying the Maddog, and still fit

See what happens when you take a hiatus. There are a ton of great posters here with well thought out ideas, info, and answers to all the questions anyone could have. You're one of the best sources of info and well thought out posts on here. If guys like you leave we'll be left with the UFC.

Each AE will probably have more and more new hires changing equipment. I am trying to wrap my head around what that will mean for Delta. Obviously more churn in the training department but I am not sure what else will be affected.

It seems to me that as long as we are steadily hiring the 1 year seat lock provides most of its benefit to the company in the first year of any hiring cycle, and in subsequent years basically provides minimal benefit, and actually negative benefit in the first year after hiring stops.

Thoughts?

I don't think guys will be swapping equipment too much. There will always be guys who will choose QOL over pay rates or bigger cockpits. Plus, spending a month on VA ave in the summer is no ones idea of a good time.

Those that do move up to 7ER or 73N, will just be forcing new hires into more 717s and MD 88 right seats. All of the training spots will be spoken for one way or another, the only difference will be less new hire slots on the 7ER and 73N.

Yes, at the end of the day, there has to be a demand signal from above the new hire seat for them to want to go anywhere. Retirements cost much more than sustained new hires entering.

That and we need to immediately get to the bottom of the "how its calculated" methodology. Is it really true that they are comparing time that was only counted by work days missed to a new system that counts off days in addition to work days missed? If so that is asinine.

Or is it credit hours? With credit per day up coincident with block hour increases and the higher ADG, does that account for some of the alleged spike in time used?

It would be a major bad faith party foul to find out they were using unfair statistical manipulation to levy false accusations, or even to slightly exaggerate the numbers.

I used to buy abbots, no longer. Best ive found is by Haggar with the comfort waist... i know, but on a 5 hour flight in that seat, leaning back then scrunching forward to the box, eating etc, sooo comfortable. They hold up 20 times longer than what theu sell at the crewstore too.
