Perhaps Carl implied that as long as you're going to carry management's water and sandbag our efforts every single chance you get, you might as well be getting FPL.

After all, it's the same thing DALPA bureaucrats collect FPL for.

What is the answer you want Carl? We did not give any up. It was traded for a greater value in fixed compensation. As to how that decision was made I have no knowledge. I do know that my reps told me they were fully engaged in the process and there were no surprises.
So is the bet on?

If I was to make a bet with say, Deadhead. , on how to spell Juno and how not to reveal stuff sent to him in PMs. $#@%.

I'd make the bet so that I get to chose what picture is on his avatar for a whole year. And he has to write "FTB was right, I was an idiot, I was wrong." And vice versa.

That's a simple bet with long term ramifications.

We get it. You wanted the DPA and it didn't work out. Is there ever going to be a time when you'll get off your anti ALPA/DALPA bandwagon and contribute to the task at hand of getting us a better contract? It seems like with your background you've have a lot more to offer than the same old ALPA bashing day in and day out. I'd rather read about Buzz and NewK fighting over the last 14 years of crappy Presidents.

You know exactly the answer I want sailingfun. Why are you pretending otherwise? You claimed that profit sharing reductions are not being considered and that the only place those discussions were happening was on two web forums and by one poster. And since not one single Union worker was currently advocating for it, then it's not happening. Here was your post:

Then Schwanker asked you the key question about whether Union workers were advocating profit sharing reductions in C2012. Here was his post again:

It's a question you won't answer because it destroys your thesis entirely. No Union worker (publicly) stated anything about profit sharing reductions in C2012, yet it happened anyway. In fact, our reps gave specific direction to not touch profit sharing. Yet the NC signed off on a TA that did just that.

So, your attempt to use no public statements from Union workers advocating for profit sharing as evidence that it's not being considered by Union officials is clearly nonsense. You know it's nonsense. C2012 proved your premise as nonsense. That's the question I wanted you to answer...and you wouldn't.

Yes. As soon as ALPA/DALPA behaves like a Union. As long as they continue to behave as apologists and communicators for the positions of airline management, I will continue to highlight it.

I've been contributing to that task at every opportunity I have. My reps have always known me by first name. I have numerous email responses from MEC administrators that simply say: "Thanks for your input." I vote in every election and attend every event that my schedule allows. I've run for office twice and lost twice.

You can contribute to the "task at hand" and criticize the wrong when you see it. Many DALPA insiders don't understand that. They consider critique as sabotage.

I'm glad to hear it. I will say you've got the watchdog role down and it definitely has it's value. It'd be great to see some constructive ideas on here from you about how we can improve what we have. Mostly it just seems like constant attacks and rehash of things past.

There's no doubt in my mind that you are consistently used by DALPA officials and airline management contacts as a tool to float trial balloons and be a web board distribution tool for their positions. No doubt. But I don't recall saying you've been paid to do so. Since you claim I've made many posts saying you've been paid, and since you have a database of every post I've made, show me three posts where I've said you have been paid to post.
