Its around 600k+ right now I think. Only while employed of course. Its "free" however you pay an imputed income tax on what the premiums should be or something like that.

Depending on your age you can go on the open market and by an equivalent policy for less than the taxes you will pay on the imputed income. It's not that great of a deal unless your older and have some medical issues...

For what it's worth...we appreciate any and all support current Delta union members provide to those working on the other side of the cockpit door.

Delta Flight Attendants Request Union Vote - WSJ

"The International Association of Machinists union said Tuesday that nearly 12,000 Delta attendants, or about 60% of the entire group, have signed cards requesting that federal mediators conduct an election in which they could choose to join the IAM"

It's in the contract. PWA 25.H.1.a

Highest CA 12 year rate X 2500 rounded to nearest $1000. Makes it $676k this year. Upon retirement it reduces to $250K, then each year after retirement it reduces by $50K until it hits $10K and it stays there for rest of life.

On this forum that may not get the response you were hoping.....but then again maybe I have been spending way too much time over analyzing things.......
