We'll know in a minute.
I just think he made too many steps and a crawl and a reach while completely in control to say he hadn't had control. Just IMHO.

I agree, it looked more like a catch, fumble, re-catch to me.

Didn't DFW get here only by a blown interference call vs DTW last week though?

Kama's a b!tch.

He didn't make "a football move" before he lost it. I thought the call sucked when it happened to Calvin Johnson a few years ago.

That being said, without the blown pass interference last week, DFW isn't even there.

*FAVORITE

Agree. Even with the current (poor) rule, it was not applied properly to that catch.

The more I watch these Qbs like Romo, Manning and Rodgers the more you see what a beating these guys live with. They look completely broken.

Well..when you have a bunch of 350+ lb. guys landing on you all day, and you're not wearing much for pads, yup, it's amazing they last more than one season!

Troy Aikman's career was cut short due to all the concussions he'd had, (8?) and that was a long time before the league started focusing on the concussion issue.

I would imagine that sort of thing is self-correcting. Similar to a FO adding most everyone to his no-fly list, but even better at highlighting yourself. Some categories are flying almost exclusively with newhires (i.e. NYC NB categories). A Captain that can't work well with newhires would be known to the mentors, then the CP, almost immediately.

This whole episode (the Hyper Critical Capt.) reminds me of something a 727 Captain said to me when I was a new hire engineer,

"You know Timmy, it's such an easy job, yet some guys work so hard at phucking it up!"

He then reclined his seat and checked his eyelids for holes...

Maybe if his captain would have been critical in his evaluation way back when, Delta could have weeded him out and we would have one less captain on the no fly list.... Oh wait
