What is the consensus on the 76-4 in NY, just can't see them staying or doing international after the 330s come into the base.

Sheesh! Next thing you know, he'll be giving me my next line check!
But if I got fired for jury duty I'd never be able to take advantage of proper bidding and max earnings.

There is confusion about the 330 coming to NY. Everyone seems to think it's coming to replace the 767-400. That is not the case. The 330 flying is already in NY. They are moving the pilots to the flying.

The FEB crew resources news letter is out. It has a base by base flying outlook for 2015 along with tons of additional info. There will be a small shift in 767-400 flying to ATL but no plans to close NYC.
Virtually everything being talked about on the forum is discussed in this letter. Everyone should take the time to read it. One tidbit, 717 flying may be headed to the west coast but will be staffed out of DTW. No West base.

Just read that. Good info and they explained the contingent awards much better than they did when they released the bid.

Looks like Porsche is going to be joined by Mercedes in Atlanta. Wonder if we will get into a bidding war for who drives around our VIPs.

Doesn't matter, Mercedes or Porsche, at some point one of those Atlanta Delta tugs will kick their ass.

It's how we roll as an airline.

For the month of February there is a ton of new MSP flying on the 717 in the ATL bid packet. And DTW flying. I guess that frees DTW up to do west coast flying.

They implied that if a decision is made to fly the west with the aircraft they would add staffing in DTW to cover the flying.

I wonder how they plan to get the 717 crews from DTW to the West Coast since DTW direct to the West Coast probably turns the 717 into a

far short of the West Coast. AUS? MSP?

They said the aircraft would be routed to the west coast via DTW. Hence the decision to put the crews there. Lots of ways to route the airplanes. Lots of possible combos like DTW-DIA-SLC or just DTW to SLC or DTW to any of the Montana airports then west ect....
