Training will have to start late summer if deliveries start in JAN of 16. That means a mid summer bid.

This.

BTW, if you're a mil retiree, the 9/11 memorial is free (make your time reservation online). Discount for all vets.

The way I read the 3-99-5 rule The 4 days of CQ count as "days on" so it would actually be one five day block.

Is this correct, or would it not be awarded? I reveiwed the PBS gouge but it seems to contradict itself on this topic.

Note: I intend to check with the PBS help guys just thought I would throw it out here also.

Thanks Scoop

Let us know what you find out!

I do this every chance I get. It works well in a NB category, and I'd imagine even better in a WB category with long trips.

If would be awarded. CQ days are consisered work days by PBS...

@jonostrower is the WSJ aviation reporter, he's very good. Used to be a blogger at FlightGlobal before WSJ picked him up so he actually knows aviation.

@comebackdaddy is a entertaining read - she's the wife of a UAL pilot, shows the other side. She's got a blog too that's not bad.

@renewedPilot is a UAL pilot who's been through the double-furlough there, he's entertaining. Has a blog too.

That's the plan. May as well make the most of it.

In other news, rookie mistake. Not only did I miss by a day when trying to book my JS to work, I realized it didn't matter anyway as the flight I've been lurking the past 2 months is an RJ on the weekend. At least I was able to book a JS later in the day on a 2-legger. Hopefully the RJ has some room and I'll get my direct flight.

But that's when the airplane -- and the passengers -- are smelling their very best. Especially after a 9-hr flight.
