The short answer: Nothing.

The long answer: Delta lack of IT and Navtech are at it again...

But in reality, I'm guessing that's in the 717 category somewhere? Every 'new' category is going to be a mess until they get all the airplanes and all the pilots trained and converted.

I'm thinking of bidding the JFK A330 just so I can go to school first, then sit on my arse for 6 months while they train everyone else.

Then in a year or so, when they close it, I can displace back to ATL 777.

Oh wait...they already did that... with the JFK 777!

They would never do it again!

So: Bid what you want, and want what you bid, and don't be surprised when they change it.

It means they have enough pilots in the category for everyone to bid a RLL and still cover the flying. As mentioned by Timbo something you normally would see only in a new category or one near death.

Or one that's growing too quickly?

NYC 73NB. 110 pilots in bid, RLL 126

Question

As the A-321s start to arrive in late 2015 or early 2016, are any of the A-319s or A-320s going to be parked?

I can't imagine the A-319s but a few of the 320s are a bit older.

The domestic 767-300 will be parked as the A321's start showing up. Only the 4 big motored -300's will be kept. I don't think the first A321 is due until 16 when the 737 deliveries wind down.

Well, good to see they updated the estimated lines in NYC 717. I'd much rather fly and get off probation than hang around the crash pad eating Cheetos. Even though Cheetos are really good.

Grab your cellphone and head to the city. Never ending list of things to do and see there. Get away from the Crashpad!

The first 321 is scheduled for 1 year from now. I heard they tried to move it to 2015, but were unable. Oui oui!

Gotcha.

So the narrowbody Airbus fleet should be nothing but growth, for a little while.

I wonder which 319/320/321 base will see most of the growth.
