Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Well the CLCP newsletter just stated a AE in Dec as well!
I guess all we can do is strap in and hold on.
FWIW, I highly recommend monitoring its status of your passport on CBIT as you apply for your Russian visa. I had a mess up on mine and they didn't call. I also saw mine bounce back and forth between DC and Russia. Also, on the ER a Valtrex perscription is a recommendation and not a requirement.

"awards or assignments to any vacancies or surpluses posted prior to SOC will be restricted to pilots within their respective pre-merger fleets."

ACL will we be picking up the JAL MD-90's?
Good. But will we hold them to the contractual language, or will we "negotiate" some LOA giving them relief? The track record of this MEC indicates the latter would certainly be a possibility, maybe even likely.

nevermind...
We'll hear about the LOA about the same time the bid is posted and I'm sure King Lee(r) will give it away for nothing. Generally, I'm happy with most of the things that the union does. I'm completely fed up with their communication, or rather lack thereof.

Just reporting what I am told.
It appeared that they wanted to sharp-shoot the aircraft movement over the last few quarters, and now it seems we are back where we started.
You are making a few assumptions on timing of a bid and SOC. I think that it is safe to say that they will have SOC and or know the exact date it will be given when a bid is put out.
I am not inferring a system wide bid, but I am sure they could do that.
The exact verbiage that was used when I asked was, a MOAB that should cover MOST seats, bases and airplanes. Those are the exact words, sir. All of this started out with the exact words of, "Well this bid is going to be bigger than initially planned." That is a quote, and a direct one at that. We have progressed beyond that, to a bigger and bigger bid.
Now as you and I both know this will change 10 times prior to its posting.
My advice is to call crew resources and ask. If they have time they will tell ya what the plan of the day is.

I'll call Planning myself. Don't worry about it.
