Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Remember Alan,
At American/US Airways, the a330 and the 767-4 (a paper airplane only) pay the same as the 777 as they are all in the same band.
This is how American gets paid significantly more than our a330 pilots.
Think this will surface as an issue soon?
This information was selectively omitted from the DALPA Contract Comparison.
I'll bet when the RFP comes out and IF it includes a330's, this turd will float to the surface.

I do understand that after our contract is amendable they will have a parity review that could put their A330 rate above ours if we have not negotiated a new contract. Its not much above what our rate will be. Its almost certain that our new contract will be well above their rate however. It would only take a 5% raise.

Yikes, looks like the NYC717 folks aren't gonna be too happy for December. As it stands, only one day trips and enough for one line.
I guess some guys could have bid off 717 in DTW or ATL, but then again...why would they.
E
Well, since they only opened the category 30 days ago....I doubt there are too many of them bidding for a line....thus, unqualified to b***h. I know a guy awarded an A slot in the first award when they opened the category and he is just starting training tomorrow.

That's understandable, also.
Everytime we stand up a new category the trips suck for a while. I remember the A320 in ATL when the catagory opened, the trips were all 1 and 2 day crappy trips for a while, until they got some guys converted. It's always that way. I'm sure they'll get better, but the question I have is, how many pilots will be converted to 717 A or B on Dec 1st?

Can I drop a next day trip on the 0700 pcs run?
