shhh - now you are starting to sound like the South's merger presentation.

I keed, I keed.

If they retire after 2014, then it will be like the North's merger presentation.

About the GUM rumor, how would they staff that base. Mandatory company move for a minimum period of time or commute to fly for extended periods of time. Would there be a large bunch of folks who would willingly go to GUM or would this be a massive displacement?

Depends. TDY, moves et al if it is done!

Wait and see what our union agrees to for this bid. It will give you a much clearer picture on how things will look going forward!

Это должно быть о приблизительно десяти самолетах, и они не решили, как базировать это. Они, возможно, не даже делают этого, но это кажется хорошим, не так ли?

Well the rumor of 80 NWA jets parked makes sense.
I see most of them being replaced by something. Not necessarily in the same seat class, but the bodies will be needed none-the-less.

Yes, but it appears that said presentation may be coming true.
