There is an audio history by Michael Medved called "Why They Fight" about the Isreali/Palestine conflict. I found it to be very interesting and informative. Now can we get back to *****ing about our jobs?

I'm sorry you see the world that way.

Then no DPA vs ALPA, no Boeing vs Airbus, No "my team" vs "your team", etc, etc, etc.

Should we all just sit around, hold hands, and sing "Kumbaya"

I'm thinking the Giants and the Seahawks are going to be doing a lot of that today!

Only a Fox News rightist would suggest Kumbaya. Clearly we should be singing We Shall Overcome!

Nice zing.

Now what's your history of "fighting"?

Alfa's put a lot of money in my pocket. You've undercut, high timed with guys on furlough, and typed.

Nice history.

When I need a typist, I'll call you, though.

Awwww, you hurt my feelings. But it doesn't change the fact that you often hear "nuanced" bandied about to try to put someone's doublespeak in a more favorable light. It seems I've often heard it about a certain someone who lives inside an easily accessible gated estate when he talks a lot, but can't find it in himself to make a decision, or when he knows that decision will be easily seen as less than favorable to many he represents. So what protection does he get from his adoring pundits at that point? "He's very nuanced." Just an observation.

Can we get past this "fighting" thing? He sought out the job, and with it comes fair critique. Robert E. Lee fought, so did Custer, so did Rommel. They also made huge mistakes that affected others. Just because you "fight" doesn't make you right. Get past it.
