I do not see it being to much longer (relatively) until that announcement is made.

So I might get my 757 job back? Well hell, I guess I'm not going to study this auto jet that I got bumped into very seriously then!

Man....you always bring that little ray of sunshine in that keeps me going....I hope I can get out of NY. Cant stand that place. I live in Denver so anything west of NY would be awesome! I hope some good news and some movement comes our way.

And from today's email from LD:

"While I did think the concept of developing a list of questions for the candidates had merit, I chose not to participate for numerous reasons. Lack of opportunity for input from all of Council 44, legality concerns with respect to compliance with ALPA Constitution and By-Laws and other regulatory entities, and the hasty execution of the process were but a few. "

Slowplay, care to revisit your objection?

"chose not to participate" and "exclusion" are 2 very different things, if you didn't know....
This is not how this situation was presented to me. I will reverify my information. If it is wrong I will submit a retraction and apology.

I still think the process stunk. If it were done in reverse, I'm sure that there would have been substantial howling of how "the man" controls the communication...

It was a Question and Answer. Fact is that it put seven of the eight guys side by side.

There was no devious nature behind it. I am sorry that people derive that from this mailing, but the point behind it was to avoid exactly what a few have an issue with. It was to show no bias to the senders or candidates who paid for it. It was to give a blank slate to the reader on the candidates and only the candidates. Plain and simple.

Questions sucked? Well that is a personal opinion, and if they did, they mirror almost every question submitted to day. Well except one about disability. Point is that the simple fact is that these questions are what WE the rank and file is/are asking the dudes running.

From what I have been told, it has cut down to a almost non-existent, flow of the same type of Q and A to the guys. In effect it took the issues the pilots wanted to know about to the pilots. The candidates went to the group, not the other way around!!!!

One more RSV question. If you put in a yellow slip for a specific trip on a specific day, does it stay "active" until the trip is assigned or until you pull the request?

Yes, I think our union would cave on scope. I hope I'm wrong, though!
