Good catch! Btw, Sailing has a long history of selectively using so called "data" (whether pulling from the Swellbars of the industry or slicing and dicing info from ALPA/Delta headquarters). Crafty, lawyerly ways. You gotta admit it's kind of stinky. Reminds me of this guy:

Lots of ER FO slots. I suspect a lot of new hires headed that way. Makes you wonder about the 757 retirement plan.
Yet no one else ever posts any data to refute those numbers. That data is simply collated from the airline form 4's submitted by the government. Quick and easy for the union to cross check. To think are management would risk going to jail to try and change something easily checked is a bit far fetched. The numbers are in line with numbers from the union and company in years past.
There's lies damn lies and statistics. The union used the data in the past to carry managements water. You were mind controlled.
Seeing 97x I immediately had to watch this classic scene from Rainman:

They do a great job for management's desire to keep costs as low as possible. But for the pilots who understand the true value of what we do and also understand how relatively insignificant our cost is in the grand scheme of things, they do a p*ss poor job.
I really think that some of them are just ignorant. Some are naive. Some are extremely compliant. Some have fooled themselves into thinking they know more about business than they actually know. And some are arguably playing for the wrong team.
