There is a move to have more qualifiers like landings in, not just layovers, theatre specific, etc.

If you have an idea, send it to your reps, there is a SOT going on right now about this stuff. Easy things like Pref Qualifiers are generally easy to get a movement on.

It's a bit less altruistic than it sounds. Delta was contractually obligated to come to the table and at least discuss the flows. Further, had Delta decided to terminate the flows and no longer offer flowdown for us, the number of permitted 76-seat jets at DCI would immediately have been reduced by 35.

While Delta could have attempted to convince the new owners of CPZ and MSA to accept a flowdown from us with no corresponding flowup for them, such agreement would probably have been tough to come by.

I agree. Most are very courteous, professional, and I have a lot of respect for the difficult job they have. Out of all these years, there's only one I've consistently had issues with. I won't name any names...

Not only that, the XJ union went in, and tried to strong arm DAL management, and blew it for everyone except the one year of guys. Which, I heard was a gift from the DAL MEC.

Well, the end of July has come and gone, and August is drawing to a close. The periodic updates that were promised regarding the tablet device we are supposedly receiving have gone silent, and we are nearly halfway into the FAA validation timeline announced in May... does anyone know what the latest is with this debacle?

Related: do we get any corporate discount online at the MS store, aside from MS office on DL net?

Guys on the PBS committee wanted the PBS interface to double as our PCS template nine YEARS ago. What's not to like?

That said the company needs to actually pony up the $$ to make that happen. I don't see that happening any time soon.

I heard a flight attendant is now running the tablet program after the pilot guy quit.

Does this mean the default wallpaper will consist of cat(s) in various stages of silliness?

All the more reason to work 'meow' into your everyday controller-pilot communications. EX: 'Delta 234 is meow cleared direct to CANUK'
