Also, it would work if the first duty period were a deadhead only duty period, as that would not be an FDP and would not require the 10 hours of prospective rest under the FAR.

I suspect the RFP is going to be almost exactly what the company stated. They want around 50 widebodies with deliveries to start in late 2017. The airframes are planned as replacements not growth. The only thing I see changing is if the rest of the whales are parked they might take delivery of some airframes sooner.

No it's not sailingfun. The most important thing in business is your ability to get a revenue premium over your competitors. Apple is a huge success not because of a competitive cost advantage.

It's not badmouthing them, it's a simple statement of fact. A majority of them truly believe that cooperation with management is more important than restoration, or defending our scope language.

We'll never know because DPA won't be the bargaining agent for C2015. This conversation is about our current union and our current reps.

It's not that they don't want it, they are just wise enough to know that it isn't attainable. Put your emotion aside and you may come to realize why.

Mid May RA said "don't be surprised if the WB order is much larger than previously announced" a mix of 350/33N/773/789

I'm not the one bolding in giant font there emotional boy.

A majority of our reps don't want restoration because management doesn't want restoration. Since our reps prefer a partnership and cooperation, they're simply agreeing with management's vision.

I never said it was a north south thing, oh great one. YOU made that ASSumption. I said that there had been a big change in representation since the merger. But if you insist on that, it would appear that the former north pilots now in those positions are just as of "corruptable" (quote mine for emphasis) character as to fall into the same mold. So again I ask you, what makes your doughnuts any better?

SSDD with you.

And I prefer partnership and cooperation. It nets way more in my bank account than bloviation idiotic tactics.
