Colganguy,

Management is pro Delta and pro management. They will deal with whoever the pilots send to the table.

The Delta pilots are tolerant of this DPA thing. ALPA bends over backwards to serve and placate.

Do whatever you wish. Perhaps best to just ignore the mess, unless you are into that sort of thing.

No, I didn't mean that either. I don't trust the entire organization that is ALPA, because they have lied to me, and deceived me on several occasions. I have no way to vote out anyone but my own reps. Which is akin to throwing a baseball at a mountain, and expecting to move the mountain.

Such mountains have, however, been moved from time to time when the cause was just. If you feel that yours is, and you can convince enough others of that, then you can and should continue the fight to be represented by those you trust.

Never give up that fight.

If you say so.

1.36 cents in 2013, according to the Contract History that just came out.

I don't think this case has anything to do with the purported offender's employment.

And here's one more truism for you. ALPA insiders are concerned about one thing and one thing only, keeping their place at the FPL feed trough.

Carry on soldier. Say, you wouldn't happen to be on FPL would you?
While I do not doubt there are some individuals who would fit that description, that's a broad and inaccurate brush you're painting with index. I know three pilots who were full-time FPL as committee chairmen or vice-chairmen that voluntarily returned to the line in the last 9 months despite being asked to stay. There have been others as well during that time frame, although I am unsure as to whether their departures were voluntary or not.
