A quick look at the last two weeks of AUG shows no stacking of reserves on weekends. The distribution is fairly equal. If they only require 15 and they have 50 it will be very easy to move your off days and get the weekend off. When SEP is posted in DBMS you can get a overview of the entire month.
Edit: SEP is posted. The reserve distribution is fairly even. They do have a small surplus every day so make sure your request to move x days is in the computer for the first round of swaps. The most they have on any one day is 19 and the average is probably about 15.

Naming names. Is this an attempt at deflection? No, a great strategic thinker wouldn't be so obvious.

Moak caused harm.

We would take the wheels off and set it on cinder blocks.

FYI... I emailed my reps with input that I think Lee Moak should be recalled. I've had numerous exchanges with them in the past few hours and NONE of them see anything wrong with what he said. Houston we have a problem. Maybe these reps need to be recalled too!

My understanding is 1000, so long as it's on your schedule before 1500.

Well, they're running about 70 reserves with 244 pilots, almost the same amount of reserves as the 88 is running with 600 pilots.

The ALV was set high thus fewer lines and therefore too many people on reserve.

The good news is you should be able to trade out of those weekends on the first PCS run on the 20th.

There isn't a requirement to check said schedule on an off day correct? So if it's on your schedule and don't "self notify" on your off day, which you aren't required to do, what happened to the pairing at 0000on your first on call day?
1) Scheduling calls you at 0000 or some time afterward to notify you of said trip and you then have 12hrs to show (long call window)
2) Scheduling removes the trip since no "self notification" and your still sitting 12hr long call
3) Scheduling calls you and notifies you @ 0000 or sometime afterwards and you are on the hook for trip that duty's in @1000 b/c you just got your 10hrs of uninterrupted rest

If option three is correct how does this affect your duty day? You went on long call at 0000 so you are no longer considered @ rest, but they put you on 10hr rest after the notification. Either way I would think it affects your duty period for that day?

Thanks for clarifying....I just got reserve for Sept. and haven't been on reserve in 6.5yrs!!
